چکیده
This paper presents the microstrip antenna with different applied frequencies used as a non-invasive hyperthermia applicator. This applicator is introduced to clarify sufficient heat distribution on treated tissue for breast cancer stages. 57 mammogram images from early-stage stage-3 are analyzed obtain required penetration depth and focus position distance. Then, simulation-based experiment carried out observe heating stages of two operating frequencies; 915MHz 2450MHz. Also included in this prediction period treatment planning execution. Based results, various depths obtained when applied. showed better results compared 2450MHz, where able at stage-1, stage-2, good distance, while 2450MHz only performed well cancer. Meanwhile, require periods time. From shortest execution simulated then followed by stage-3, longest stage-1.

Optimal SAR Distribution from Waveguide Applicators for Hyperthermia of Deep-seated Tumours
A major characteristic in the hyperthermia technology is the ability to focus heat energy on a small region around the tumour to be treated. By applying Kirchhoff-Huygens principle and the scalar theory of diffraction, specific absorption rate (SAR) distribution in a homogeneous muscle due to arrays of open-ended rectangular waveguide as directcontact applicators (ORWDAs) at 915 MHz are calcula...
متن کامل3D computational study of non-invasive patient-specific microwave hyperthermia treatment of breast cancer.
Non-invasive microwave hyperthermia treatment of breast cancer is investigated using three-dimensional (3D) numerical breast phantoms with anatomical and dielectric-properties realism. 3D electromagnetic and thermal finite-difference time-domain simulations are used to evaluate the focusing and selective heating efficacy in four numerical breast phantoms with different breast tissue densities. ...
متن کاملDetection of breast cancer using non-invasive X-ray diffraction technique of hair: A preliminary study
Background: An early diagnosis of breast cancer relates directly to an accurate treatment plan and strategy. Early detection of breast cancer before its development would be a significant reduction of morbidity and mortality rates. The aim of this preliminary study is to investigate the sensitivity of Wide Angle X-ray diffraction (WAXRD) method on women hair samples of healthy and breast cancer...
متن کاملQuantitation of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and Interleukin-6 in Different Stages of Breast Cancer
Background: Determination of the impact of angiogenesis on tumor development and progression is essential. This study aimed to determine the serum levels of Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and Interleukin 6 (IL-6) in breast carcinoma, and to correlate them with tumor size, lymph node involvement, and cancer stage. Methods: Under aseptic precautions 5 ml of venous blood was collecte...
متن کاملOptimizing non-invasive radiofrequency hyperthermia treatment for improving drug delivery in 4T1 mouse breast cancer model
Interactions of high-frequency radio waves (RF) with biological tissues are currently being investigated as a therapeutic platform for non-invasive cancer hyperthermia therapy. RF delivers thermal energy into tissues, which increases intra-tumoral drug perfusion and blood-flow. Herein, we describe an optical-based method to optimize the short-term treatment schedules of drug and hyperthermia ad...
